RMI2 improves our economic resilience

The Coloradoan May 16, 2010 - Kudos to the Fort Collins City Council for its support of the Rocky Mountain Innovation. Their vision makes RMI2 a critical part of a pipeline that is creating new local companies and establishing Fort Collins as an economic leader.

By facilitating Sage Advisor volunteers and business-sponsor supported programs such as the Kauffman Foundation's entrepreneur FastTrac training, RMI2 helps ensure that local entrepreneurs will succeed. By establishing real estate space that draws new businesses to the region, the City Council takes an active role in improving our economic resilience and draws international companies such as Wirsol Solar to build their North American headquarters alongside.

This engine of job creation is leveraging the talented work force already in the region, will build the tax base and will provide jobs for future graduates.
